About This GEM
Dr Aiban had worked in the non-governmental health sector since completing his Masters of Health Administration in 2005. His work focused primarily on monitoring and evaluation of health projects to alleviate the impacts of leprosy, tuberculosis and HIV&AIDS among targeted communities in various states in India. In 2016 he shifted from full time NGO related work to part-time liaison partner for Emmanuel Hospital Association for Meghalaya. This enabled him to diversify into business activities in the tourism sector in Meghalaya. He has been involved in general support activities with GEM and BUP, Umroi since the movement was initiated by Darilyn Syiem in 2016.
