Help us Support the Children of Ukraine!
GEM is excited to announce a new fundraising campaign - to help the children affected by the war in Ukraine. Since childhood mental health well-being is one of our core tenants, we will be partnering with a Polish non-profit (the vast majority of Ukrainian refugees are going to and staying in Poland) whose mission is focused on children’s mental health, in particular the trauma associated with being a child refugee.
While immediate needs are being met, emotional and mental well-being is often secondary. The treatment of psychological trauma for these children is going to take decades.
More details will follow, and we anticipate circulating updates on progress and developments, as the situation unfolds.
